Mumbai Police has identified and located an MBA holder who made a threatening call to veteran industrialist Ratan Tata. The police, employing technical support and assistance from a telecom service provider, tracked down the anonymous caller who was later revealed to be suffering from schizophrenia.
The caller had warned of dire consequences for Ratan Tata similar to the fate of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry. Upon investigation, the police discovered the caller's location in Karnataka and his residence in Pune. However, considering his mental health condition, the police decided against pursuing legal action.
